Whenever we start a new project, we are used to reflecting a lot. Should we build at all? How much does the project care for its context? What does it add to urban life? How inclusive is it? How could we facilitate human interaction? How can we raise the quality within time and budget? How can we design it to be flexible in the future? And these are only some of the questions that we usually discuss in our team.

Now it’s reflection time again, but in a different way — we’re embarking on a trip where we question ourselves, our identity, who we are as a team. With our characteristic openness and transparency, we’ll be sharing with you some bits and pieces from behind the scenes, as we advance with this exciting process, guided by Hye Studio, branding professionals.

Why now? We think that we need to better reflect our beliefs and our continuous involvement in the public debate. Furthermore, given Leo’s well-deserved retirement in 2023, we would like to acknowledge the legacy that 15 years of BOGDAN & VAN BROECK has created, and to build a future-proof identity. What won’t change: keeping the feet on the ground and the head in the clouds.
